There is something so easy, so classy, so innocent about wearing a Little White Dress during the warm summer months. It’s the cool, younger sister of the Little Black Dress. It is chic and just as versatile as a Little Black Dress. It has the capacity to be dressed up or dressed down. I’ve been wearing a number of white dresses on repeat lately. My latest favorite, is this chic little number from Sister Jane. With the beautiful shape and puff sleeves, not to mention the hint of metallic gold thread that pops through from the underside… it’s really something special! The minute I put it on I felt like a princess. Below, are a couple of my other favorite white dresses this season.
[accordion]This beautiful dress by Aje (here) is one that I have been lusting after!! It manages to incorporate not only the puff sleeve trend, but also the cut out trend… without looking too trendy. It is a beautiful linen dress with just a little bit of silk, which will help keep you cool in the summer sun. Definitely a classic option that you could wear for many summers!! [/accordion]
[accordion]This gorgeous white dress (here) is from the same designer, as the dress I am wearing above. I just recently stumbled across the Sister Jane brand, and have been beyond impressed with the quality of their clothes! This dress is a little more on the Ivory side of White, but it still has that subtle metallic thread detail that my dress has. Not to mention it has an adorable check pattern to it. [accordion] A simple, stunning dress by Anine Bing (here). No one does effortlessly cool better, than Anine Bing. It’s lightweight and flowy, and the perfect dress for a casual day. It would look just as chic by itself as it would with a cute little cardigan or denim jacket accompanying it.[/accordion]
