I’VE ALWAYS BEEN A PRETTY BIG BELIEVER THAT FACIAL CLEANSERS DON’T NEED TO BE FANCY. OR EXPENSIVE. SURE, THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AFFORDABLE FACIAL CLEANSERS AND MORE EXPENSIVE IN TERMS OF HOW THEY FEEL ON THE SKIN. HOWEVER, THEY ARE ALL THERE TO DO THE SAME THING. WASH THE GRIME OF THE DAY OFF YOUR FACE.
I would rather spend my money on serums and creams to help combat fine lines, wrinkles, etc. That’s why I have used good ole’ CereVe facial cleanser for 8 years now!! I used to use their foaming facial cleanser, however, a few years ago I switched over to their hydrating facial cleanser and have never looked back. It washes the grime from my face all while helping hydrate it with ceramides, niacinamides, and hyaluronic acid. It is not the best makeup remover, so I typically use micellar water or (my favorite) Cold Cream, if I’m wearing makeup that day.
And… I love it. I’m also a pretty big fan of their eye cream (though I don’t use it exclusively). And their moisturizers are a great affordable option, as well.
CereVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser
My tried and true cleanser for 8 years now, it is a gentle face wash that doesn’t disrupt your skins natural protective barrier. It has ceramides and hyaluronic acid in it to help draw moisture to your skin and maintain it. The thing I love about this cleanser is that it does what it says it is going to do and it has never made my skin feel tight or itchy after using it. Again, not the best makeup remover, but we should all be double cleansing by now anyway. So not a big deal to me, I use it as my second cleanse on days that I wear makeup.
CereVe Eye Repair Cream
I am honestly still on the hunt for an eye cream that I just adore, so I rotate between a few for now. However, this one is in constant rotation and definitely deserves a mention. I always have a tube of it in my bathroom drawer. Not only is it a great affordable option but it moisturizes and feels sooooo soothing on your delicate under eye area. It is ophthalmologist tested and full of ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and niacinamide to help hydrate and plump up fine lines.
CereVeFacialMoisturizingLotion
A handful of years ago I tried out both the AM and PM Facial Moisturizing lotions from CereVe. They do a fabulous job moisturizing your skin using hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and ceramides. They even have a patented delivery system called MVE technology in them that helps deliver hydration for 24 hrs straight. The AM moisturizer also has sunscreen (zinc oxide) formulated into it. I liked the moisturizers, I just didn’t love them. However, they didn’t break me out and they did moisturize my skin. I believe they are a fantastic product for the price point. Especially for someone who is just starting to take care of their skin and wants to use trusted products that deliver.
The Hydrating Facial Cleanser and Eye Repair Cream have found permanent homes in my beauty drawer, forever. If you decide to try any of these products, let me know what you think in the comments below.
