When you think of “Glam Rock”, who do you think of? The two names that come to mind for me are David Bowie and Elton John. Their outfits were everything!! And still ARE!
That’s why when I found this gorgeous, glittery, sparkly skirt…. I knew that I needed to find myself a proper band tee, featuring one of the aforementioned men, to accompany it. Truthfully, I have a rather large amount of band tees in my closet. They are my favorite way to dress down a blazer and make it more fun. Plus band tees are so versatile. But, most of my band tees are in more subdued tones. I stumbled upon this particular tee and knew it was the one!
This skirt is so comfortable, and even though it has a zipper on the side it has stretch to it, so you can easily dance around! The sequins and ruffles make the skirt so unique and fun! And the band tee from Lauren Moshi is so soft and comfortable, it will definitely be worn again and again by me!
The whole outfit made me feel like a rockstar. And I loved the mix of fancy party on the bottom, uber cool rockstar on the top! You could easily dress this look up even more by nixing my white sneakers and adding a pair of heels. For evenings a white blazer would be a welcome addition to the mix, as well.
