Masking Series – The Hanacure Review

okay… I’m sure that you have seen this crazy, ugly facial mask floating around the interwebs. People were having the time of their lives posting photos of themselves on Instagram looking truly monstorous!

I first caught sight of a picture of Drew Barrymore on Instagram with the Hanacure mask on. Wondering what she was doing to her face, I headed over to their website. They market it as an all-in-one facial that is designed to correct a multitude of skin issues.

A mask with no – sulfates, parabens, phthalates, colorants, fragrances, or alcohol.

And, a plethora of good ingredients, including a bunch of peptides and calming botanicals. I figured… what did I have to lose? I ordered their Starter set and waited for my delivery.

Shipping was fast, and that next Sunday I eagerly dug into the box. Per the instructions you open the bottle of Lifting Serum and pour it into the Gelling Solution, give it a good 20 second shake, and then brush onto your cleansed skin with the Hanacure Brush.

It says you may place it on your neck and back of your hands as well, but you should avoid your eye area. Needless to say, I got a smidge too close to my eye area. Won’t be doing that again!! When they say this mask pulls and tightens they really mean it. My face morphed into something truly hideous. I couldn’t truly close my mouth and because I had placed the mask so close to my eyes my eyes were being pulled open from every angle. That being said, it didn’t hurt, it just felt weird!

30 minutes later I washed the mask off with some warm water and a washcloth, and then I got down to  inspecting my skin. My skin was noticeably tighter and brighter. My pore size was drastically reduced. And any little blemishes I had before had been calmed down. Don’t get me wrong, I still had them they just weren’t red. SIDENOTE: THEY DO SAY THAT IF YOU HAVE VERY FAIR SKIN THAT YOUR SKIN MAY BE RED FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS AFTER. I, however, did not experience a red face after.

They say to get the best results that you should use the mask 2 times a week until you achieve your desired results, after that a couple of times a month. Their before and after pictures on their website are crazy!!

I’m intrigued to see what kind of results I would get after using it 2 times a week for a month… ordering more now! I’ll update you with the results soon!!
